Prison2Parliament is a Motivational Speaking and coaching service with its foundations rooted in John Daynes' incredible story of rising from a violent, drug-addicted lifestyle, spending over 10 years in multiple prisons, and surviving 2 murder attempts to standing in the Houses of Parliament addressing MPs as a highly respected and completely reformed man.
Now you may not make it to the Houses of Parliament or even want to but his transformation is an illustration of what you can achieve despite the odds that may be stacked against you.
We all experience some form of prison, whether it is physical or mental, there is always something locking us away from our true purpose and denies us the freedom to explore our greatness.
It could be addiction, domestic violence, depression, or anxiety, these are just some of the things that keep us imprisoned and destabilized from exploring our full potential
Prison2Parliament helps people unlock their future by equipping them with tools to break destructive cycles and develop a new way of thinking that can be applied to bring about tangible change.

COOPERATE
We work with business's to motivate and empower employees and management to activate the right mindset and ethics in order to achieve goals at work and outside of work.
People with barriers to employment
We give business's the necessary knowledge concerning employing or considering employing ex-offenders and give an incite on the huge barriers they face and discuss how this can be beneficial not only to the individual but also for you as a business.
Also we would like to partner with job centres and other employment agencies in working with and preparing, particularly ex-offenders, for work.

Our starting point is recognising greatness in all prisoners before challenging behaviour patterns, igniting self reflection and unearthing different thought processes that will ultimately change character.

We understand importance of getting things right once you leave prison and getting the right support and information is key to factures that will minimise reoffending and we provide you with the necessary tools to help you move forward.
SCHOOLS
We deliver motivational speaking sessions and coaching workshops, including one to one for schools who require something different to inspire positive growth within their pupils or need an outside influence to deal with difficult issues, such as crime, violence or drugs.

PRISON TALKS
John spent over a decade in over 15 different prisons and now feels it's his duty to go back but for a totally different reason.
He has revisited some of the prisons where he has spent time and has been embraced by inmates as well as staff.
His approach is non judgemental and rooted in his own journey.

Conventional education was something John missed a huge part of and this subsequently added to his problems.
He understands the trappings of street life and how lack of engagement in the classroom can have a negative impact.

SHOCKING STATISTICS
Around 30,000 of all adult offenders were proven to have committed at least one reoffence within a year, giving a proven reoffending rate of 29.2%.
Drug-related deaths in England and Wales have reached a record high, driven primarily by opiates, figures show.
There were 4,859 deaths related to drug poisoning registered in 2021 - a rate of 84.4 deaths per million people, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.
